I had no idea Kim Manners had passed away until it was at the end of an episode of Supernatural. Sci-Fi has lost a good man. His name has been linked to some great shows, X-Files, Star Trek and of course Supernatural. It was a shock and a shame to see the wee montage at the end of the episode but a nice tribute to a sci-fi legend.

I was at work when one of the guys told me that Test had passed away. I remembered who he was but I couldn’t remember what he looked like. It eventually came to me. He wasn’t all that old. It seems that few wrestlers make it to pension age. He wasn’t someone I was a big fan off. It’s always a shame when someone so young passes.

It was a shock to hear of the death of Natasha Richardson. Even when her health was described as 'critical' I still thought that she would pull through but then I heard the news that she had died of her injuries. I feel for her family. There will be few people that haven't seen her or a member of her family in something either on the small screen, big screen or on stage. An accident such as the one Natasha had is so unexpected, so out of the blue that it makes you stop a second and think how quickly life can be gone.

I’ve never been a Jade fan but I have felt for her during her battle against cancer. It’s a shame that her boys have been left without a mother at such a young age. I can’t help but think of my brother-in-law. My youngest niece doesn’t have any memories of her own of her dad. She relies on photos and stories. I hope Jade’s boys have memories of their own and that they are old enough to remember her.
R.I.P. Jade
