--- Yip once again I got to be boss for a few days. Asst. manager is on holiday, supervisor is off sick and the boss had to have a day off and a Regional Mangers meeting too so three days I got to play boss. Because the supervisor’s illness came on suddenly the boss didn’t have much choice but to give me some keys and let me run the store for a few days. On Sunday I got to run the shop, something I’ve done several times and Tuesday/Wednesday I got to run it too. The three days went really well. The team worked really well. I was off yesterday. Went in today and the boss was happy with how the place looked. I’d managed to get a valentines section in place and I have to say it looks really good. I’m really happy. I like being able to help out like this, run the store or even just like today and tomorrow where I just close up the shop...taking off the tills and locking up and things like that. It’s fun doing that. But I have to admit that I still wouldn’t wanna do it full time. I really don’t want to be management. Help out yeah, forever well noooo. I’ll be handing back the shop keys tomorrow and I’m ok with that. It’s always good that I can just let myself in in the morning so I don’t have to wait to be let in but I’d rather wait than be management fulltime. I’m off in a few weeks and I can’t wait.
