Went to the cinema with a A & B today. I work with A...he’s lovely. We saw 30 Days of Night and it wasn’t all that bad. The end was a bit odd. A lot of films I’ve seen this year have had dodgy endings...what’s that about? Anyways back to this movie. It’s pretty gory in places. Took a while to get to the good stuff but when it got there it was worth the wait. The acting wasn’t too bad...not great but it didn’t interfere with the enjoyment of the movie. There were a few good one liners...not many but some. It’s all set for a sequel that could be good...or not...just need to wait and see if that comes about. The music was weird...a lot of the time it was thumping noise to make you jump and although the movie wasn’t scary it did have a few jumpy moments which were great. Don’t go if you want a brilliant film...go see this if you want a good film with good jumpy bits and a lot of gore.
